Card Reader
A card reader is a common accessory used in conjunction with a weighbridge to automate the weighing process and improve efficiency. A card reader can be used to read various types of cards such as RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) cards, smart cards, or magnetic stripe cards. These cards are typically used to identify the vehicle and its owner, as well as to store information about the vehicle's weight, tare weight (the weight of the empty vehicle), and other relevant data. When a vehicle approaches the weighbridge, the driver can present the card to the card reader, which will then automatically retrieve the relevant data and input it into the weighbridge system. This eliminates the need for manual data entry, reducing the risk of errors and improving efficiency.
